Hey, everybody. Welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the 49-inch Rhino Rack Vortex Crossbar System with your RX series legs here on our 2017 Subaru Crosstrek. So this is gonna be a very nice way of going ahead giving yourself a nice little roof rack to go ahead get some of that bulk your cargo that's really eating up all our space here in our Crosstrek, getting on top of something like a roof cargo basket, a roof box, anything we really wanna throw on here, right We're talking kayak carriers, we're talking roof-mounted bike carriers, world is definitely gonna be our oyster. What's gonna be nice is this Rhino Rack System is gonna allow us to throw up any of our accessories on here. And what's nice too, you can avoid yourself the expensive buy that is a hitch to start adding on hitch accessories, which is always an option. more

I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Vortex Crossbar system with the RS series, put pants to go ahead and go ahead and get ourselves up on our 2017 Subaru Crosstrek. So this is gonna be a nice, very nice way. We need a decent set of crossbars on top of your roof. So, I will say Rhino-Rack definitely become one of my favorite Rhino racks out there. Definitely very contentable between Yakima, Tooly all those high name brands, definitely start setting itself well above some of those more economic options, which is great. more

Malone AirFlow2 Universal Roof Rack Installation - 2019 Subaru Crosstrek- Video
Now that this Malone roof rack system has some really nice aerodynamic shape crossbars, that's going to help cut down on wind noise and drag, especially if you compare it to a round or square bar roof rack system. We have a nice rubber strip up top, so we can utilize T-slot accessories. All we do is kind of push up on this cap. You can see we access the T-slot right here. All we have to do is push down on that rubber strip and then slide our accessory to the desired location on our roof rack and then tighten it down. Close the end cap and you're good to go.Now the crossbar length is going to be 50 inches on both of them, so that should be more than enough space to get your favorite accessories loaded up. more

Best 2016 Subaru Crosstrek Roof Rack Options- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the best roof rack options available for your 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. Now once you click on the roof rack options for your vehicle, these are going to be the top three roof racks. At the top we're going to have the Rhino-Rack SX series roof rack system consisting of part numbers RRVA118B-2, those are the Vortex Aero Crossbars, and part number RRSX005, and these are the SX series legs for the Vortex Aero Crossbars. Next we have the Thule Crossroad roof rack system, consisting of part numbers THARB53, these are the Thule Aeroblade Load Bars, and part number TH450R, and these are the Thule Rapid Crossroad roof-mounted railing foot packs that come with that. And finally we have the Yakima Timberline roof rack system, consisting of part numbers Y00408, these are the round 48 inch crossbars, and part number Y03536, these are the roundbar SL adapters for the Yakima BaseLine, SkyLine, TimberLine, and RidgeLine towers. And finally, part number Y00147, and these are the TimberLine towers for the Yakima crossbars. Now as far as differences between these three roof racks are concerned, the most obvious is the Yakima rack has the round bars while your Thule and Rhino-Racks have the aero bars. Now, there are advantages to having the aero bars just because it can actually cut down on wind noise and drag while you're driving as opposed to the round bars. more
